Kristen Stewart Movies: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse: It isn’t easy being the father of a girl in high school when she starts dating. It’s even harder when the boy she’s seeing is an immortal vampire.
In “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” the third smash-hit film based on Stephenie Meyer’s wildly popular fantasy romance novels, free-spirited Bella Swan and pale-faced lover Edward Cullen read romantic poetry together in a field covered with wildflowers. Sigh. Edward asks her to marry him. She says no. They smile. Double sigh. If only they didn’t have to get back to dealing with hostile vampires, snarling werewolves, protective parents and Bella’s commitment to become a vampire in the near future.
Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson are fully comfortable now as the star-crossed lovers. She’s moody, and he’s understanding. Their connection is strong, but we know it will be tested time and again.
Staccato bursts of action interrupt their dreamy world. The vampires and werewolves have blinding speed and incredible strength. Somehow they keep their powers under wraps, preventing their mysterious ways from becoming public knowledge. That makes it all the cooler.
Whatever they’re doing, it’s working. “Eclipse” cost $65 million and surpassed $300 million in U.S. box office receipts. The next installment is due in theaters in November 2011.
The two-disc special edition DVD of “Eclipse” is PG-13, 124 minutes. DVD extras: two commentary tracks, a six-part making-of documentary; deleted and extended scenes; music videos and more. From Summit Entertainment. It arrived in stores Dec. 4.
Kristen Stewart & Robert Pattinson: New King & Queen In Summer 2010: Twilight stars Robert Pattinson ad Kristen Stewart rakes in another title as they have recently been declared the King and Queen of Summer 2010. Pattinson and Stewart figured prominently in the news this summer as paparazzi trails the two stars in their supposed get-away lake house in California.E!Online declared Robert Pattinson as King of Summer 2010 after securing 68.7 % votes in an online poll. Pattinson beat Robert Downey Jr., easily knocking out Iron Man’s 31.3% votes.
And what is a King without a Queen? On-and-off screen partner Kristen Stewart fought off Katy Perry with 61. 6 percent vote, to reign beside Robert Pattinson. Perry garnered 38.4% vote, which proved to be insufficient to take the crown from Stewart.
There are several factors behind the Pattinson-Stewart win. The Twilight stars were photographed kissing this summer, finally confirming reports that two are a couple. Robert and Kristen also starred in this year’s biggest box-office draw. Twilight Saga: Eclipse.
They were constantly featured on the news as the two stars go separate ways to shoot for their non-Twilight movies. Pattinson’s film Water for Elephants had wrapped up filming late last month while Kristen Stewart’s On the Road shoots in Montreal. Aside from that, Kristen figured on the news for the widely-publicized kiss with Dakota Fanning.
Kristen Stewart Lap Dance with James Gandolfini (Video): Kristen Stewart wowed critics and fans alike with her role as a teen stripper in the film Welcome to the Rileys, and in this recently released clip we can see why! Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson & Taylor Lautner together at People’s Choice Award: Kristen Stewart’s self-proclaimed awkwardness is endearing to her fan base, but it might be hurting her relationship with Robert Pattinson, according to Beverly Hills body language expert Dr. Lillian Glass! The Twilight starlet accepted two awards at the People’s Choice Awards on Jan. 5 in LA, and she ignored Rob the entire time! Dr. Glass says this is because Kristen is “completely uncomfortable in her body” and she “likes to keep her relationship with Rob a mystery!”
When Kristen, Rob and Taylor Lautner accepted the award for “Favorite Movie of the Year,” for Eclipse, Rob attempted to hold Kristen’s hand as they walked up to the stage, but she pulled away! However, she allowed her best friend Taylor Lautner to help her up the steps, put his arm around her on stage and then she patted him reassuringly while Rob made his short speech.
“I don’t think she trusts Rob’s love or the affection that he is now offering her,” says Beverly Hills psychiatrist Dr. Carole Lieberman. “She’s afraid to make herself that vulnerable by acknowledging to herself and the world that she is in love with him. Kristen anticipates that Rob is going to break her heart and she doesn’t want to be made a fool of.”
Kristen ignored Rob a second time when she went on stage to accept her award for “Favorite Movie Actress,” by not making eye contact with Rob while giving her speech. In sharp contrast, Rob was leaning forward in his seat, lovingly gazing at his girlfriend and hanging on Kristen’s every word during her acceptance speech.
“There is a lot of tension in Kristen’s face, arms and she keeps leaning her head down which means she’s very uncomfortable during her speech,” Dr. Glass says. “But Rob is leaning forward because his body is gravitating towards her. His hands are clasped and he’s looking at her in adulation. Rob’s cheeks are raised which shows it’s genuine love and he is so happy. Rob covers his mouth because it’s like he’s keeping a secret of how much he’s in love with her.”
